Release 99/Rel 4. It included enhancement of GPRS/GSM protocol stack from
3GPP specification Rel97 to Rel99. The project activities in a nutshell:
Requirement analysis, estimating, HLD development, code development, unit
testing, testing with Anite, Rohde and Schwarz, ORGA SIM simulator,
Robustness testing, IOTs, Field Tests, Solving customer issues. The project started in May 2003 with a core team of
5 people. I was part of the project from this time. In May 2003 the team travelled
to Berlin for requirement analysis and meeting the customer. A month was
spent in requirement analysis, providing estimates and developing HLDs. From July 18, 2003 to April 1, 2005 I was in the
customer site at Berlin. First 8 months was spent mainly in development
activities. Testing with live networks, IOTs etc started after this. I
was involved in IOT session i.e. travelling to IOT labs and performing the
